References in the Terms to “us”, “we” or “our” are references Oral Health Therapists Association, its related companies, and directors, officers, employees or agents of Oral Health Therapists Association or its related companies, as the context requires.
By using the Site you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. From time to time we may update or revise these Terms without notice. Please check these Terms periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Site after the Terms have been changed indicates your acceptance of those changes.
Whilst we have endeavoured to ensure that the information we have provided on the Site is free from error, it is provided “as is” and “as available” and without warranties of any kind either express or implied.
Oral Health Therapists Association does not warrant the accuracy, currency or completeness of the information on the Site or that the Site is error free or suitable for your intended use.
Oral Health Therapists Association does not warrant that the Site or the server which makes it available are free of viruses or other harmful components and we shall not be responsible or liable for any error in, or omission from, the information we have provided on the Site except as required by law.
We reserve the right to make changes to the information provided on the Site at any time and without notice.
Use of the Site
You agree not to use the Site for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms. You may download the information on the site for your own personal use but otherwise neither the site, nor any material on it, may be altered, modified, reproduced, transmitted or distributed without our prior written consent.

ii) post, disclose or transmit any material that is defamatory, obscene, misleading or deceptive, or which infringes Oral Health Therapists Association’s or any third party’s intellectual property or breaches any duty of confidence or contractual obligation owed to Oral Health Therapists Association or any third party;
iii) send junk, obscene, indecent, offensive or threatening electronic mail or “spam” to any person or company;
iv) falsify or delete any attributions, legends, or other proprietary designations of origin or source of any content of the site;
v) conduct, display, or forward surveys, contests, pyramid schemes, or chain letters;
vi) interfere with or disrupt the Site or servers or networks connected to the Site, or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies, or regulations of networks connected to the Site;
vii) attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site or computer system or networks connected to the Site through any means;
viii) commit forgery (or attempted forgery), harass any individual, or harm minors in any way;
ix) collect, store, post, disclose or transmit personal information or data about others, including, without limitation, tax file number information and email address; or
x) breach the Privacy Act, or contravene or breach any other applicable law, convention or regulation.
b. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of any passwords and/or identification or login information for the Site. You agree to notify Oral Health Therapists Association immediate of any unauthorised use of your password or any other breach of security.

Those sites are not under the control of Oral Health Therapists Association and Oral Health Therapists Association is not responsible for the content or the lnks contained in those sites. Neither Oral Health Therapists Association nor its officers, directors, employees, agents, or related bodies corporate recommend or endorse the content of any third party sites which may be linked to or from the Site, or products or services from any third party organisations mentioned or described on this Site or linked to or from this Site. you acknowledge that you enter any third party websites at your own risk.
b. This Site may contain advertisements for third parties’ goods and/or services. The third party advertisers are responsible for the accuracy of all representations made in those advertisements. Neither Oral Health Therapists Association nor its officers, directors, employees, agents, or related bodies corporate recommend or endorse any products or services that may be advertised on the Site, nor do they offer the goods or services for sale or make any other representation whatsoever about them. If you choose to order a product or service advertised by a third party on the Site, you do so at your own risk.
Intellectual Property Rights
a. The information, text materials, graphics, logos, button icons, images, video and audio clips, trade marks (whether registered or not), advertisements, layout, arrangement, graphical user interface, look and feel, and control features of the Site (the “Content”) is protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property laws.
b. You must not modify, copy, reproduce, republish, frame, upload to a third party, transmit or distribute in any way the Content except as expressly provided in these Terms or as permitted by the Copyright Law.
a. Oral Health Therapists Association may from time to time amend, update, or change the Site, including these Terms and Conditions without prior notice.
b. Oral Health Therapists Association shall not be liable by reason of the failure in the performance of obligations under the Terms and Conditions by reason of strikes, riots, fire, explosion, acts of God, governmental action, or any other cause which is beyond the reasonable control of Oral Health Therapists Association, including any form of technological failure or the actions of third parties.
c. These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Oral Health Therapists Association with respect to this Site, and the terms and Conditions replace all prior or contemporaneous understandings or agreements, written or oral, regarding the Site.
d. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent possible and will be deemed deleted to the extent that it is not enforceable, and he remaining provisions of the Terms and Conditions shall remain in full force and effect.
e. The failure by Oral Health Therapists Association to insist upon or enforce strict performance of any of these Terms and Conditions will not be construed as a waiver of any right or remedy of Oral Health Therapists Association in respect of any existing or subsequent breach of these Terms and Conditions.
f. New Zealand law governs these Terms and Conditions. You hereby consent and submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the Courts of New Zealand for any cause of action relating to or arising under these Terms and Conditions.
g. Oral Health Therapists Association operates the Site in New Zealand. Information contained on the Site may not be appropriate or available for use in other locations. If you access the Site from another locations, you do so at your own initiative and you are solely responsible for compliance with local laws.

If at any time Oral Health Therapists Association is required by law to release information about you or your organisation, Oral Health Therapists Association must cooperate fully.
What sort of information does Oral Health Therapists Association Collect?

If you do not provide the Information required, you may not be able to become a member or your may not be able to receive the information or service you requested by the method you have requested.
How is your information used by Oral Health Therapists Association?
Oral Health Therapists Association collects the Information to provide you with a specific service. For example, we may use the Information you provide to:
• Process your membership application, process your membership renewal, update your details and profile information or fulfil an order or request for information;
• Send you information on relevant Oral Health Therapists Association services, training and events;
• Send you subscription renewal, voting papers or other information required under the Constitution or By-laws;
• Communicate with you on any issues relevant to your membership or transactions with Oral Health Therapists Association.
Who does Oral Health Therapists Association disclose personal information to?
Oral Health Therapists Association will not sell, rent, trade or otherwise supply to third parties any personal information obtained from you without your consent.
Oral Health Therapists Association will confirm membership of Oral Health Therapists Association to members of the public, other professional bodies, and provide contact information to overseas member groups if you are going overseas.
Oral Health Therapists Association will disclose business information in a public search area as determined by you. If you do not wish this information to be disclosed you can turn this information off.
Oral Health Therapists Association will provide only such information as is required by suppliers and business partners to enable a particular service to be fulfilled.
Oral Health Therapists Association develops aggregate (i.e., not individual) reports, which incorporate some of the Information. The reports are used by our business partners or by Oral Health Therapists Association to review statistics or analyse trends. However, these reports do not include any personally identifiable information.
Oral Health Therapists Association are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial processes to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
Correcting and Updating your Profile
Oral Health Therapists Association gives you the following options for accessing and modifying Information previously provided:
• You may gain access to Information that Oral Health Therapists Association has collected about you by contacting the person named below;
• You can change or update personal information online or you can advise of changes via, telephone, email or letter;
• Each year members are notified of the information held on file via their subscription form and can amend that information.

Oral Health Therapists Association will issue an email notification once your membership payment has been processed.
If you are not satisfied with your membership subscription, please apply for the cancellation within the first 7 days of your payment date. If you fail to apply for the refund and cancellation during this period, it shall void 7 day money back guarantee.
If you are an existing member and wish to cancel your membership after the 7 day money back guarantee period you may cancel at any time before the next renewal date. However, no refund of any fees will apply.

Requests to cancel accounts or the termination of your payment plan with us will result in the automatic deactivation of your account.
If you’re paying your membership fee by instalments and wish to cancel your membership during the member year you will not be able to receive a refund of your membership fee.
Event cancellation and refund policy
Cancellation of your event registration will be possible before the following dates by sending us an email.
Cancellation 11 - 30 days before the event: 100% refund of registration fee
Cancellation 6 - 10 days before the event: 75% refund of registration fee
Cancellation 0 - 5 days before the event: 50% refund of registration fee
No show: no refund
Payment must be received in full prior to the event. Access will not be permitted if full payment has not been received.
