Conference 2016 - Wellington's the place
As you will have heard, the Board is creating a ‘super team’ of the best conference organisers to plan and execute the NZDOHTA conference in 2016.
We had hoped to have a confirmed date but it looks like we won’t know for sure until early next year – watch this space.
New Board Member
We are excited to introduce our newly appointed Board member, Arish Naresh.
Arish graduated with a Diploma in Dental Therapy (Honours) and is a candidate for a Master of Health Science. Currently, he works for Tairawhiti District Health as the Director of Allied Health & Technical. He has extensive governance experience and is passionate about the engagement of our younger clinicians and their career advancement.
We thank our other candidates for taking the time to apply for the position and wish them all the best.
Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal - Vacancies
The Ministry of Health has recently published advertisements seeking nominations/applications for appointment to a number of health and disability bodies, including the Health Practitioners Disciplinary Tribunal. For more information, head on over to the Ministry of Health website.
To ensure we are serving our association to the best of our ability, we need to find a little bit more about members. In the next few days we’ll be sending out a survey, which should take about 5 minutes. Your feedback will help shape the future of NZDOHTA.
A Massive Thank You!
We’d like to thank all of you for your continuing support and input. We’ve had a very enjoyable year working closely with many of you. It’s been great.
Our office will be closed from 20th December to 12th January. We wish you all a very safe and happy holiday season and look forward to bringing you, and the Oral Health profession, more next year.
